About the Mod

The main goal of this mod is to ensure that you, as a player, face meaningful rivals in the late game. By streamlining historical outcomes, the mod prevents the AI from collapsing prematurely, creating a more challenging and immersive experience.

No core mechanics have been altered, ensuring compatibility with nearly every mod. It works perfectly alongside other "railroading" mods, and several are recommended for the best results.

Note: Events may occur slightly earlier than they did historically, as the game engine tends to take its own path.

Key Features

• The Eastern Giants: Muscovy and the Ottomans receive custom, powerful Casus Belli and AI-specific events. By 1400, Russian minors should be integrated, while the Ottomans will have united most of Anatolia and the Balkans.

• The Commonwealth: Poland and Lithuania are set to unite around 1400. To prevent the AI from accidentally losing the union, the mod uses annexation as a stable solution.

• Expanded Lithuania: Lithuania annexes Kiev and Volhynia, taking territory from the Golden Horde to mimic the 1600 PLC eastern borders.

• Central Europe: Austria will establish a union over (annex) Hungary once they are weakened by the Turks. Bohemia is integrated after the Hussite Wars (approx. 1500s).

• The Ming Empire: Ming will now win the Red Turban Rebellion in 95% of games.

• Dynastic Stability: Special events ensure the Habsburg dynasty remains in power in Austria.

• Controlled Colonization: Overseas colonization is restricted. Only Spain, Castile, and Portugal can colonize early. England, France, and the Netherlands join post-1550, while the rest of the world unlocks in 1637.

• Lucky Modifiers: Certain nations receive "OP" or devastating modifiers. The player can choose to accept or refuse these modifiers via event for thier state if applicable.

Player Freedom

No modifier or forced action is ever imposed on the player. The AI will not use its "OP" scripted wars against a human player, ensuring your strategy remains your own.
