Better Towing / Harrys Tow Truck [B42.13.1]
Tow truck functionality for Build 42. Hook damaged vehicles and tow them to safety.
Included Mods
- Better Towing – Core towing framework. Adds hook-based towing to any vehicle with a "hook" attachment point. Includes radial menu controls and adjustable tow height.
- Harrys Tow Truck – Adds the Chevalier Rhino tow truck. Spawns in industrial and mechanic areas. Requires Better Towing.
- Disable Default Towing – Optional. Removes vanilla car-to-car towing from the game. Trailers still attach normally. Enable this to require tow trucks for vehicle recovery.
Setup
- Enable Better Towing + Harrys Tow Truck for the full experience
- Enable Better Towing alone to use with other tow truck mods (KI5 M62 Wrecker, KI5 76 Chevy Wrecker, etc.)
- Enable Disable Default Towing to disable vanilla car-to-car towing
B42 Updates
- Fixed radial menu for B42 inside/outside vehicle split
- Fixed timed action compatibility
- Fixed EngineDoor override load order
- Towed vehicles now start raised
- Hook now targets closest vehicle instead of random grid order
