Perfect Placement
Perfect Placement improves build placement by letting you rotate with the mouse before placing. Hold left mouse to pin an object, then move the mouse to rotate. Enable auto-orientation to automatically rotate seating around tables and workbenches! Override the default install orientation of all buildings!
Features
- Mouse rotation: left-click to pin, move to rotate, release to place.
- Reinstall behavior: keep original rotation or force North/East/South/West.
- Auto-orientation: seating around tables and interaction spots automatically rotates.
- Install and build overrides: optionally force a fixed rotation.
- Build Copy support: keep copied rotation or override it.
- Only affects rotatable objects: skips linked/drag placements. (Togglable on non-rotatable + non-tileable buildings for consistent control scheme)
- Optional debug logs in settings.
Settings
All features are configurable in the mod settings under "Perfect Placement".
Performance
Extremely lightweight. Sub 0.05ms additional latency only when actively placing buildings. You should not notice any difference with it running and if you do please submit a bug-report.
