Ancestral sword
Sometimes "LESS IS MORE"
Legend has it that in ancient times, a rare meteorite fell deep in the heart of Qiang territory, was recovered and forged into a single sword by a secretive sect of Qiang elders.
Everyone who has ever touched this celestial metal has imbued it with their strengths and their spirit. Over decades it passed hand to hand thru village elders until it found its way to your family where it finally found a bloodline worthy to carry it back to the heavens!
Now it falls to you to carry the sword to -your destiny- to unify China and bring balance back to the heavens!
Gives:
A Water Clock and Celestial Sword (+18 leadership, and excellent damage stats for a sword),
but with a unique property, –it also allows the wielder to retinue:
- Peoples Warband (familial dual-swordsmen)
- Qiang Archers (loyal sect supporters – modded cheaper upkeep, + missile defence)
The Challenge:
- As a strategist: Your elders have tasked you to build your retinue with 2 peoples warband, and 4 Qiang archers and carry this formation to the end of the campaign! No trebuchets, no dragons, just your family swordsmen and the Qiang supporters who discovered this magnificent piece…
- As a Sentinel: Your elders request you to build your retinue with 4 peoples warband, and 2 Qiang archers and carry this formation to the end of the campaign!
- Or
- You know, – do whatever you want! 🙂
Compatibility:
- Only 1 unit table was modified for this mod (affecting the Qiang archers unit)
so is is compatible with MTU etc, and most overhauls, but watch out for the mods that modify unit stats…
