!! THIS IS MADE FOR A HOTAS SYSTEM !!
!! Read before Download !!

You want to feel like a real drone Pilot?
The Araneae Keelshooting 12L is designed to be flown with 4 analog control axis. This way you have direct variable inputs for pitch, roll, yaw and thrust!
The Keelshooting is the entry model to my HOTAS lineup and comes with a constant stabilization system, an automatic camera adjustment for better visibility, the possibility to change weapon types and a beginner friendly immediate one way thrust input.
The FPV drone is quite heavy compared to more advanced drones and offers rather slow but continuous and even flight characteristics.
The Keelshooting is equipped with 2 lasers for minor combat but it is not intended to be used for exessive fighting.

!! Please notice that this Blueprint has to be configured by you before using it :

Configuration steps (yellow glowing blocks are temporary) :

1. spot the logic gates on the RIGHT SIDE of the drone (marked by colored stickers and used for all inputs; every slot for an input is marked by an "X")

2. search for the gyro with a RED sticker –> set your intended PITCH inputs (green – PITCH FORWARD ; red – PITCH BACK)

3. search for the or gate with an ORANGE sticker –> set your intended PITCH FORWARD input (green – PITCH FORWARD)

4. search for the or gate with a BROWN sticker –> set your intended PITCH BACK input (green – PITCH BACK)

5. search for the gyro with a BLUE sticker –> set your intended ROLL inputs (green – ROLL RIGHT ; red – ROLL LEFT)

6. search for the or gate with a GREEN sticker –> set your intended YAW inputs (green – YAW RIGHT ; red – YAW LEFT)

7. search for the or gate with a WHITE sticker –> set your intended BUTTON for STARTING the drone (green – START BUTTON)

8. search for the or gate with a PURPLE sticker –> set your intended input for THRUST (green – THRUST UPWARDS)

9. select all yellow glowing blocks (contrl. + double click on one yellow block) and delete all of them

10. select all logic gates you just configured (on the right side) and push them inside the drone byselecting them and tapping a/d once

There should not be anything disconnected at this point (if there is please try again and follow the steps exactly)

How to set up a HOTAS or HOSAS in general for Trailmakers? Quick Guide :

Some HOTAS are directly recognized by the Steam Controller settings (open Steam and press on Steam on the top left corner; then press Settings and scroll down to controller; here you may see your HOTAS) but i do NOT recommend using the Steam controller settings.

For optimal control remapping i highly recommend an app called UNIVERSAL CONTROL REMAPPER (UCR).
This allows you to emulate a virtual controller that is directly recognized by Steam and also lets you map every action on your HOTAS to the virtual controller.

!! When configuring your HOTAS in order to get at least 4 Axis of motion for the drone you will probably have to bind 2 Axis to the camera stick of the controller. By using a camera-block on the Keelshooting you wont change your viewing direction while in the air when controlling the drone with your camera stick. For more detail on how to get a HOTAS working in Trailmakers or with UCR please watch a YT video.
