The rise of a people was accompanied by the collapse of two empires. When Jurchens, the gyrfalcon of Northeast, smashed down once mighty Liao and Northern Song Dynasties with astonishing speed, waves of change were triggered in Asia. For over a decade, the cataphracts of Jin army seemed unstoppable. However, there were still people who prepared to put an end to Jurchen victories. After reorganizing their army in the South, Southern Song generals were ready to launch Northern Expedition; Having settled in the West, Yelü Dashi, the heir of Liao Empire, was also planning to take back the land once belonged to his ancestors. Dust of battlefield would once again fill the memory of the ancient land.
