Still a work in progress, expect more cars to be added with time. The American Orient Express was a luxurious passenger train operated by the NIOE from 1989 to 2008. Originally called the American European Express, it would be renamed the American Orient Express in 1994. The train would offer a cruise like experience complete with scenic views, luxury cars, as well as full service lounge and dining services. The trips were successful until 2008, when economic slowdown reduced the passenger count so drastically that the train had to discontinue service. The cars would be sold off shortly after.
