[FS-20 Vortex] BADF ANG 105th FIS Ashwood Auxiliary (Vanilla+)
The 105th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, now a unit of the Boscali Air National Guard, traces its origins to its former life as an active-duty aggressor squadron. For decades, the 105th served as one of the BADF’s premier air combat training units. Following a series of budget reductions and force structure changes, the squadron was reallocated to the Air National Guard and redesignated as the 105th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. Based at Ashwood Auxiliary Airbase, a joint BADF-BMDF training and education installation, the 105th FIS maintains round-the-clock alert status, conducting rapid-response interceptions against hostile or unauthorized PALA activity over northern Boscali. Despite the change in component and the expansion of its homeland defense responsibilities, the squadron preserves its aggressor heritage: its pilots continue to serve as high-end sparring partners for the active-duty force, providing threat emulation, advanced training support, and tactical development in order to better prepare joint forces for victory against the PALA.
