Influenza
The year is 1918. The first cases of Influenza were first ignored. As the public kept getting sicker,the actions of Public Health Officials would depend on America’s future. Of cource they did the most human thing possible. Denial. They didn’t want to face the fact that a deadly pandemic was going around. General John J. Pershing needed more troops in Europe to help with WWI. The troops were disapperaing not from the enemies, but from Influenza. The Virus was brought by ill soldiers across the Alantic and into Europe. Now with Europe infected, President Wilson had to make a choice. Send more troops, or lose the war. He was basicly signing thousands of death warrants, and that’s what he did. Sent thousands of men over still with Influenza, to Europe. After a while, hope started to arise. The Virus was disapperaing as fast as it came. But this can not be the end, can it? Now it’s up to to finsih this killing job. I have high hopes for you, player.
