Description:

Considered the gateway to Saigon, Tien Giang is a district in South Vietnam on the western border of the Mekong Delta region. Known for its robust agricultural production, Tien Giang is a home to large rice paddies, fruit orchards, and corn fields. The nearest major city is My Tho, which housed a naval base and some of the first U.S. Navy SEALs from ST2 as they began deploying to South Vietnam (just a little history for those that enjoy having some historical accuracy to their in-game ops). The region was important to COSVN as the tax on agricultural production was critical to keeping their forces supplied.

Notes:
* Clients should lower their Viewdistance to achieve the best performance in the jungle areas. There aren’t many areas where you will see further than 100-200 meters.
* The AI can have problems moving through the corn fields; keep them to the paths and they’ll be fine.

Acknowledgements

* Recon Team Blackfoot for being the best group of "Recon Weirdos" a dude could ask for. Without them I doubt I would find the motivation to even attempt a project of this magnitude.
* ArdvarkDB – Without him I would have never been able to wrap my head around the basics of Arma modding.
* Fox – He has provided valuable advice throughout the process and helped me bring this to a releasable state. He is the guy that pointed me in the right direction to begin terrain creation.
* Taro – Pointed me in the right direction to begin creating terrains for Arma 3 and provided valuable advice throughout the process.
* HorribleGoat – He helped guide me through those issues that always arise during Arma modding and without his input I would still be stuck scratching my head on a few things. The guru of Arma modding, I am extremely grateful for his enthusiasm to help out lost mod makers such as myself.
* MikeBravo – The creator of the amazing screenshots used for the Workshop page.
* ArgoChris – His water color settings really helped bring some more authenticity to the terrain as the brown water just feels right. A major thanks to him for sharing those settings with me.
* SOG Prairie Fire Team – They created this wonderful Vietnam sandbox for us to enjoy and allowed me to use their assets in my creations. These assets really helped make the terrain just that much cooler and, more importantly, optimized.
* The Arma3 Terrain Makers Discord Channel – There is a wealth of knowledge in that channel and it helped guide me through some of the steps that have less available documentation.
