Nowheraki Militia
So far as Coalition forces fight to turn the tide in Nowheraki the contribution from the natives has been limited to the Nowheraki SWAT and their militia allies. The Nowheraki Government recognise this needs to change and have agreed with several Militia organisation that they will be provided with limited training, equipment and importantly Ministry of Interior backing in return for taking the fight to the insurgent threat more proactively.
The Nowheraki Militia are a volunteer unit made up of two parts.
The Command Element contains the charismatic Commander who leads his unit by example, his Enforcers who are heavily armoured and slow but effective in CQB, Explosive Experts who can blow up walls or doors and Sharpshooters who can effectively pick off enemies at mid to long range.
All classes in the Command Element use a full deploy slot.
The bulk of the manpower is therefore provided by the Riflemen and Support Gunners who are less specialised and cost half a deployment slot each.
I’ve tried to balance the unit around campaign play where you will need to find the balance between use of your more effective but less numerous Command Element along with the grunts who will need to do the heavy lifting. The Command Element classes are specialised and designed to support the more numerous classes.
Full custom doctrine tree based on the SWAT Overhaul mod, themed more on the learnings of experience rather than training courses. What I’ve tried to do with this doctrine tree is provide less of the nodes that just provide linear improvements to accuracy or aim time and more that are situational or trade offs.
US weapons are available via Battle Honour unlocks however will be less useful until you unlock corresponding doctrine points.
Weapons and attack types aimed to ensure that your 7.62 based armoury remains viable even when US weapons are unlocked.
Stylish mixed Woodland/DCU uniforms.
A thank you to Chad di Urbino for sharing the helmet and extended vest used in the mod. Also to D-Boy for the M249 and the Project Ares team for Chest Rig UI image used in the mod.
Any feedback about balance or bugs more than welcome.
