Manwee is a former butcher and charcutier. He enjoys preparing a good beefsteak, a veal stew, or any other dish. But he also believes in certain communist ideas: the abolition of social classes. And in every revolution, someone has to fight. So, a butcher, an army, a war… what does that make? It makes a man who turns to cooking human steak. And as luck would have it, Huyiuhyiu takes care of the cooking with Molotov cocktails, making sure the smell of communism spreads through enemy lines.
Arty Ivenzen, his real name, was recently recruited by A.I.M., sent by his group to spread their ideas within the International Association of Mercenaries. Liked by others, he joined more and more groups, until he eventually met Huyiuhyiu, Blast, Jose, and most importantly — Miky, whom he naturally encountered among the rebels.
Miky even owes him his life. After being bitten by an alligator in the swamps of Ille Morat, he lost a few toes. After several days, the wound became infected for lack of proper care, and other injuries only made things worse. That’s when Manwee stepped in, like some kind of divine angel, and offered a clean machete strike to the “sausage,” cutting away the necrotic flesh.
Williams had no choice but to accept, pain and all. That day, his meat would not feed his comrades, but the hyenas of the group — because a rotten foot steak crawling with little worms is also part of the local animal cuisine in this war-torn land.
