Due to how WARNO’s modding tools work, it is not possible to upload ReShade presets directly to the Workshop or place files in the game’s main directory.
For this reason, this Workshop entry contains no actual mod content.

I created this ReShade preset because I found WARNO’s default color palette a bit too arcade-like, even if it works well with the gameplay.
Through experimentation, I aimed to find the right balance between realism, atmosphere, and immersion. The result enhances lighting, colors, and depth, giving the game a more immersive and cinematic feel while keeping the core gameplay intact.
Note: one of the filters may cause minor visual glitches in the menus due to how the game renders its UI. These glitches are purely cosmetic and do not prevent normal gameplay.
Update
Alongside the standard preset and the dedicated night battles preset, I have added two experimental, purely cinematic presets:
– PostApocalypse.ini
– VHS_HORROR.ini
PostApocalypse.ini
This preset completely transforms WARNO’s atmosphere, pushing it toward an extremely dark, post-apocalyptic visual style.
It heavily reduces visibility, making normal gameplay very difficult. For this reason, it is intended exclusively for cinematic footage and screenshots, not for regular play.
It is optimized only for daytime scenarios; during night battles, visibility is reduced to the point of being almost unusable.
VHS_HORROR.ini
This preset simulates the look and artifacts of a VHS recording, with strong analog distortion and degradation effects, designed for horror-style or retro cinematic sequences.
