Description:

This addon may seem relatively barebones and lacking some features; but that’s okay! It’ll have new content added every now and then.
Two major updates are CURRENTLY planned, those being XTwisters3 Bombs and Weather!

The elements, Disasters, Weather, & Tornadoes.
• A decently wide range of entities from disasters to weather phenomena to research equipment and of course, tornadoes, with more coming in updates later on.
• A fully completed list of very detailed and realistic looking source particle engine tornadoes from EF0 – 5 with variation.
• Tornado parameters based PER PARTICLE, so the tornadic windfields and pressure + strengthening times match the particle it was parented to.
• Deep attention to detail to all features added in the addon to ensure the most quality experience possible for all users.
  Addon Configuration & Performance.

• Widely configurable with many options from gameplay to performance to truly gauge the experience you want with the addon.
• A experience optimized and tested for multiplayer, works well in servers with many CVARs for configuration!
• Advanced features with HIGH optimization. Each process that may cause lag also features ways to potentially decrease impact on frames.
  Miscellaneous/Other.

• Everything comes "as is", meaning all it’s textures all prepackaged and you don’t require another game or addon.
• Gameplay first design, this mod was first and foremost designed to be fun and actually something you’d play with friends or on your own without causing major problems by just trying to do that.
• Weather research equipment like anemometers and barometers alongside probes exist with calculations that reflect real life tornado and weather processes.
• Extra fun items like weapons and joke entities included, with more soon to come.
• Uninvasive design, anything you don’t want to be there won’t be there and nothing that might disturb you is on by default.

All addon Convars (Client and Server) are labelled first with " xtwisters3_ " preceding it in the console.
For advanced users, a highly indepth modding API exists for the mod and I implore you to check it out, soon I’ll make a tutorial video for this so anyone can make a XT3 mod!

Here are some example addons. :

• RainbowDoesStuff – She/Her : Main addon developer, coded everything you see and made some particles, alongside the GFX work for the addon.
• TheRollingTempest – He/Him : Primary artist, made most of the art you see. Also tornado particle developer.
• AstralPlains – They/Them : Particle developer, specialized in general particle development, made tornadoes – lightning – etc
• RoyalAsher – He/Him : Particle developer, made tornado particles for the addon.
• TornadicLily– She/They : Particle developer, made a few funny things for the addon, created the original XT1
• Poison – He/Him : Particle developer, made A tornado particle for the addon. Does some media stuff.

  TornadicLily’s particle contributions are in the Smallnado and Depression entities.

• FourtyFour, some of his old code from XT2 is used here and he had a VERY miniscule involvement with other things.
• ToasterGraph, Might have some stuff added in the future regarding his modelling.
