The Motaba Virus
The Motaba Virus, a fictional ebola-like virus, was discovered to have killed 100 people in a village in Zaire (Now the Democratic Republic of The Congo), and mutated quickly, killing it’s host within 24 hours. This disease is based off of the Motaba virus in the movie The Outbreak (1995). The Motaba Virus reached America when it’s host, a White-headed Capuchin Monkey that was headed to a biological testing facility, was smuggled out by a man named Jimbo. This disease spread fast and infected the town of Cedar Creek.
