Description:

This is part of this MegaComPatch

Economic and Financial (E&F) + The Great Revision (TGR) ComPatch

Compatibility patch for using Economic and Financial (E&F) together with The Great Revision (TGR).

Load order

This patch should be loaded after both mods. Place other mods after it only if they do not overwrite the same files (especially UI files like gui/budget_panel.gui).

What this patch does
  • Fixes the Budget Panel UI conflict
    • Both mods overwrite gui/budget_panel.gui. Without a merge, the mod loaded last wins and the other UI changes disappear.
    • This patch ships a merged budget_panel.gui: it keeps TGR’s tax controls and keeps E&F’s extra tabs (Economy / Finance / Stockpile).

  • Disables TGR “International Loans” module
    • TGR includes its own loan / interest rate system (same content as the standalone “TGR International Loans” module).
    • This patch disables that module to avoid overlapping mechanics with E&F:
      • Journal Entry: je_international_loans
      • Diplomatic actions: issue_a_loan, apply_for_a_loan
      • Buttons: tgr_loans_button_*

  • Merges overlapping technologies
    • Both mods redefine the same tech IDs. This patch merges the key overlaps so you keep the intended effects from both sides where possible:
      • banking
      • central_banking
      • mutual_funds
      • joint_stock_companies
      • investment_banks
      • international_exchange_standards
      • modern_financial_instruments

  • Merges company HQ production methods
    • Both mods touch the same pm_company_headquarter_* production methods. This patch merges them so you keep TGR trade-capacity additions while preserving E&F employment/share rebalancing.

  • Keeps E&F pop needs in TGR buy packages
    • Re-injects popneed_currency and popneed_financial_products into wealth_1 .. wealth_99.

  • Defines stability
    • Pins key NEconomy settings so results do not depend on which mod loads last.

Notes
  • If you use other UI mods that also replace gui/budget_panel.gui, you will need an additional UI merge patch.
