Corpses Last Forever (and Unlimited Decals)
Half-Life 2 thinks it’ll die if there’s too many ragdolls. No, it won’t. (ed: It will but it depends a lot on your computer and the limit is very tight in comparison to what you can get.) This will let you properly admire the fruits of your labor without it disappearing.
This does some other things too – it also unlimits the decals and the physics props (maybe? console commands are finicky). You probably want that too, and it’s obnoxious to split things up too much.
