C‘s Ranged Cavalry Expansion
Added 6 new ranged cavalry units, which can be obtained sequentially through upgrades and feature unique promotion trees. Adjusted some of the unique units.
Ranged Cavalry
- Horse Archer (Horse Ridding): 3 Movements, 1 Range, 20 Strength, 25 Range Strength. Cost 80 Production ,5 Horses. 2 Gold, 1 Horses to Maintain.
- Heavy Horse Archer (Stirrups): 4 Movements, 2 Range, 30 Strength, 40 Range Strength. Cost 200 Production ,10 Horses. 3 Gold, 1 Horses to Maintain.
- Gragoon (Metal Casting): 5 Movements, 2 Range, 45 Strength, 55 Range Strength. Cost 260 Production ,10 Niter. 4 Gold, 1 Niter to Maintain.
- Voltigeur (Rifling): 5 Movements, 2Range, 50 Strength, 60 Range Strength. Cost 350 Production ,10 Niter. 5 Gold, 1 Niter to Maintain.
- Motorised Artillery (Combustion): 5 Movements, 2Range, 60 Strength, 70 Range Strength. Cost 450 Production, 1 Oil. 6 Gold, 1 Oil to Maintain.
- Self-Propelled Howitzer (Advanced Ballistic): 5 Movements, 2Range, 70 Strength, 85 Range Strength. Cost 680 Production, 1 Oil. 6 Gold, 1 Oil to Maintain.
Unique Unit
- Maryannu Chariot Archer: Egyptian unique Ancient era ranged cavalry unit that replaces the Horse Archer. Unlocks earlier. +1 Range.
- Saka Horse Archer: Scythian unique Classical era ranged cavalry unit that replaces the Horse Archer. Stronger than the Horse Archer with extra Movement.
- Keshig: Mongolian unique Medieval Era ranged cavalry unit that replaces the Heavy Horse Archer. Can escort moving civilian and support units at their higher Movement speed.
- Voi Chiến: Vietnamese unique Medieval era ranged cavalry unit that replaces the Heavy Horse Archer. These units are also stronger when defending, more expensive, and have greater sight.
Promotions
- Parthian Shot: Can move after attacking.
- Alternative Horse: Heals at the end of every turn, even if it moves or attacks.
- Recurve Bow: +5 Ranged Combat Strength when attacking.
- Bellum se ipsum alet: Pillaging costs only 1 [ICON_MOVEMENT] Movement point.
- Commander’s Telescope: +7 Ranged Strength when attacking enemy units that are not in an adjacent tile.
- Artillery Tractor: Does not suffer Movement penalties in Features, Terrains or Rivers.
- Fire-Control System: +1 additional attack per turn if Movement allows.
Barbarian horse archers obtained through various means can be upgraded to Horse Archer or their unique units.
Adjustments have been made when Harmony in Diversity is enabled, and further adaptations will be made in the future.
