Better Quality Arrows
CA did a terrible job of modelling arrows, they fade away very quickly, dropping into a slinky undersized arrow model that you can barely see.
This is the cause of the popping effect from one model to another you get when you go near them.
I have rebuilt the Level Of Detail mesh, I have only added 4 tri’s or 2 polygons. The effect on performance should not be noticeable.
I have also rotated them to the correct flight position as CA had them flying flat, when they are actually released from a bow with the blade and fletch vertical. I also extended the view distance from 500 to 1000.
I find arrows look best with this mod when there is only a 5-10% arrow trail set.
