This mutator allows you to change the night vision effect and adds a bunch of other features

Infrared night sky
Changes the skybox when night vision is turned on similar to the view from real life night vision devices and IR cameras(turn off if youre using Mac/Linux).
Gen-1
Night vision can trace its roots back to WW2 but the first generation is considered to be developed around the 60s. These early night vision devices could only amplify ambient light to a limited degree so they required moonlight or an IR illuminator to work properly. A myth surrounding the early development of night vision claims that helicopter crews who wore experimental red phosphorus goggles began to see demons and spirits, they were obviously just lying…or were they?
Gen-2
Starting in the 70s, some pilots flying night missions began to be issued night vision goggles and used them with great sucess, these new 2nd generation AN/PVS-5s could amplify ambient light enough to be used without a floodlight in very dark conditions and overall had a much improved image quality.
Gen-3
This generation further improved image quality and began to implement a feature called auto-gain which changed the voltage based on lighting conditions in order to prevent damage to the device and user. It also introduced white phosphorus which is much easier on the eyes than the green phosphorus used previously.
GPNVG
The L3HARRIS “Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggles” are extremly advanced Gen-3+ goggles that have a total of four tubes instead of the regular two in order to increase their field of view(and look extremly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool).
Digital
A new advancement in the field are digital NVGs which function like a camera with its IR filter removed allowing them to see the infrared spectrum, they are genraly inferior to classic analog NODs due to their reduced latency and framerate bit are often used by hunters because of their much lower price.
