Rise of the Aegean Historical

The world lies in chaos, the sea people raiding the shores of our beloved Egypt and in the north a great war erupts between the King of Mycenae and the great city of Troy. Now it’s your time to write your own story, the build up your own Dynasty and to write your legacy!

While I was working on the Rise of Mythos mod a lot of people where complaining that I shouldn’t call it rise of Mythos, because there are not enough Mythology in my mod, so I decided to split my attention and work now on two separate mods. The first mod is Rise of Dynasties and the second one is this little project. Since I was a child I loved the Tales around the fall of Troy and now I’m finally able to add units to this fantastic time period. With this mod I aim to make the Minor factions more unique and I added some units to them. This is right now for testing, so please tell me what I could change!

Update 1.1: With this update I added the Myrmidon Swordsmen to Achilles. Also the factions of Odysseus, Achilles and Agamemnon have now access to the centaur units, later every faction will be able to recruit them from some landmarks and I added a new building for the recruitment of horsemen for those 3 factions. Please let me know what I could change and if you find some problems!

Update 1.1: With the update of the mod 14 new units join the faction of Ajax and some new units following now the other two factions (Odysseus and Achilles). There is now a second part that unlocks mythical units!

Soon I’ll start adding missing historical units from Total War Troy to the other minor factions and I´ll be trying to make the King of Mycenea able to recruit them over a new system for him. During that process I’ll again and again upload some little updates with the truth behind the myth units. Also I’m working right now on a sub-mod for those units to make them fully mythological.
