To have some fun before his upcoming transition into 3D (and make sure it doesn’t turn out as rough as his last outing) Meat Boy has entered the fray! His glass-cannon playstyle rewards upclose aggression and pressure at the cost of his light weight
Toss a bandage in an arching throw, this can help get damage in from far while also helping for vertical combos. The bandage will linger for a while if it’s on the ground.
Meat Boy lunges forward with a fast, straight punch that carries momentum. Offstage, that forward momentum also gives it enough value as a horizontal recovery option. The move can be jump canceled on hit, letting him instantly transition into another attack.
Meat Boy launches himself upward in a straight jump with zero hitbox. It exists solely for getting back to the stage. The height is serviceable and anyone paying attention can swat him out of it, so be careful!
Meat Boy flashes a thumbs-up and bursts with a fast hitbox that pops opponents away on contact, similar to fox’s shine. It doesn’t look threatening, but used right and it ruin your stock.
Meat Boy stomps beneath him. The move is jump-cancellable throughout the entire duration, meaning you could possibly get 2 stomps in!
Meat boy has a near instant turn, having 4 frames of turnaround from a normal dash.
