No March Stance
This mod totaly removes march stance.
How? :
March stance and its on-water equivalent, Double Time, have been removed from the stance options. Neither the player nor the AI can use them.
Why? :
– March stance adds uninteresting micromanagement. Having to enter and exit this stance for every single action is tedious. No longer having to activate this stance is a real relief and greatly improves the game’s fluidity.
– The AI put itself in unnecessary danger with this stance, or on the contrary, runs away like a coward and we can’t catch it even with an army that is supposed to be faster.
– Removing this stance allows the map to be virtually enlarged; Armies spend slightly more time outside of cities, resulting in more battles on open battlefields. Which is a nice side effect.
Warning :
Before applying this mod to an existing campaign, set your armies to default stance to prevent them from getting stuck in march stance.
