1986 Dodge Omni GLH-S
The 1986 Dodge Omni GLH-S was the ultimate evolution of Chrysler’s lightweight turbocharged hot hatch. Originally developed under the direction of Carroll Shelby, the GLH (which famously stood for “Goes Like Hell”) transformed the humble Omni economy car into a genuine performance machine. For 1986, the limited-production GLH-S (“Goes Like Hell – Some more”) raised the bar even higher with a Shelby-tuned 2.2L Turbo II engine producing 175 horsepower, upgraded suspension, unique badging, and its iconic black-over-silver livery. With only 500 GLH-S models produced, it remains one of the most collectible and significant American hot hatches of the 1980s.
This mod brings both the GLH-S and the GLH Turbo models into the game, recreated as accurately as possible to their factory specifications. Historically correct paint colors have been carefully matched to period references, and details unique to each model have been faithfully represented to capture the spirit of Shelby’s original performance vision. From trim differences to performance styling cues, this package aims to deliver the most authentic in-game representation of the 1986 Omni GLH lineup possible.
