Goliath, the War Machine, is back with an improved arsenal in Rivals of Aether! Goliath has received a complete overhaul to his animations and several of his attacks, though he still remains a zoner with a plethora of powerful weapons and free form flight.

Nspecial: Weapon system

Goliath will use one of his 5 weapons:
Assault Rifle: rapid fire rifle that riddles opponents with bullets.
Rocket Barrage: Fires 3 homing rockets that lock on to the nearest opponent (parrying a rocket destroys all of them)
Sniper Rifle: Goliath enters a stationary stance and takes aim. Moving the joy stick will move the reticle and you can fire it by pressing special. This attack can be canceled by pressing shield or jump, or by being hit.
Plasma Cannon: Goliath readies a plasma cannon. Pressing special again will fire a bolt of energy that puts opponents in extended hit stun. can be shield canceled.
Self Destruct: Goliath will fail to generate a weapon and begin to self destruct. After a short time goliath will explode, damaging himself and anyone near him.
This attack will go on cooldown after successfully firing a weapon.
Fspecial: Rocket Punch

Goliath readies his fist. pressing special again will launch it forward as a damaging projectile. can be shield canceled.
Dspecial: Ionic slam

Goliath strikes the ground with an electric fist, stunning any nearby opponents hit. This attack can only be used on the ground.
Uspecial: Flight

Goliath Will begin flying. Goliath can freely move around and perform specials and aerials. While flying, Goliath will consume fuel.
UNIQUE MECHANIC: THE FUEL METER

Goliath’s Uspecial uses his unique FUEL resource. Goliath can only initiate flight while his fuel meter is full. Successfully landing a hit with any of his aerials will consume additional fuel. landing a hit with Uair, calling self destruct with Nspecial, and pressing the jump button or the shield button will cause Goliath to exit flight instantly. Touching the ground while in flight will cause goliath to exit flight and drain all of his fuel, so be sure to stay above the ground!
