今泉影狼是东方Project系列中登场的官方角色，首次登场于东方辉针城，作为3面道中BOSS和3面BOSS登场。
有着狼的特征，会在满月变成狼，毛发会变多，但是依旧能保持理智。辉针城异变发生的时候受到了万宝槌魔力的影响而变得凶暴。
今泉影狼拥有在满月之夜变身为狼程度的能力。似乎对自己满月时毛发变多的情况很是在意。因此她平常都是遮住皮肤，独自生活在迷途竹林里。
今泉影狼是追求暴击的输出型角色。今泉影狼以暴击伤害减低为代价，提升友军的暴击机会。在友军造成暴击或击杀敌人后，她能强化自身下一击的威力。以此，今泉影狼能逐渐觉醒隐藏的力量。

Kagerou Imaizumi is an offensive character focused on critical hits. She increases allies’ critical chance at the cost of reduced critical damage. Upon an ally landing a critical hit or killing an enemy, she strengthens the power of her next attack. Through this, Imaizumi Kagerou can gradually awaken her hidden power.
