Backrooms Level 78: Psychological Planet
Here is the level 78 of the backrooms, widely known as ,,Psychological Planet". This is my second approach at making map with this weirdcore theme, so there will probably be some updates to this map.
This map is based on screenshots and description from backrooms wiki. In my opinion, the article about level 78 is written quite well. Some wikis present level 78 as "Space Station" But I decided to pick my source of information as The Backrooms Wiki [backrooms.fandom.com]
On the map you’ll find the iconic "sun", there are some trees and houses, so that map feels like "hilly grasslands used as wallpapers by many old Windows desktop computers". Also like written in the wiki, there are areas that will make the sun "randomly disappear and reappear in the sky, though Level 78 will remain brightly lit throughout these event". There are also areas that emit radiation, so don’t get too close. The map now also features so-called S̴h̴r̴o̴o̴m̴ ̴E̴n̴t̴i̴t̴i̴e̴s̴, that will make you hallucinate if you consume them. Look near trees to find some. I probably will make more maps like this in the future.

But suggestions for the new Backrooms Level maps must follow some rules:
- It cannot be boring, if the level is just a field or an empty room, I probably won’t make it (example) [backrooms.fandom.com]
- It has to be something new, if someone has already made certain level into a gmod map, I’m not gonna make another variant of it (example) (unless someone would make a really bad map)
- It can’t be too complexed, If the level is operating on some different stage of weirdness that cannot be done the conventional way on the source engine, I’m sorry, I’m still just a human ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (example) [backrooms.fandom.com]
If you experience problems with lighting or textures displaying incorrectly after loading into the map, restart the game and that should do the trick.
