Equipment Transmog
An extension mod for Equipment Visibility Toggle that lets you override the appearance of your equipped gear with any piece of gear you’ve previously owned — without affecting your actual stats or protection. (Registration requires the item to be in your inventory at the time, but once registered it stays in your library permanently.) Also known as cosmetic override, glamour, or appearance swap in other games.
Requires Equipment Visibility Toggle to be installed.
You also get full access to the base mod’s equipment visibility toggle — hide any piece of gear while keeping its protection stats, all from the same panel.
Gear Appearance Override
Replace the look of any equipped item with a different one you’ve previously registered. Your real gear stays equipped underneath — only the visuals change.
Supported slots:
- Helmet
- Headset
- Body Armor
- Backpack
- Face Gear / Glasses
Register Gear from Your Inventory
Bring the gear you want to register and press "Register Gear" to add it to your transmog library. It just needs to be in your inventory — no need to equip it. Once registered, the appearance stays in your library permanently, even after you sell or lose the item.
Per-Slot Appearance Selection
Each equipment slot has its own dropdown selector with icons. Mix and match freely — wear one helmet’s look while enjoying another’s protection.
Per-Save Persistent Settings
Your transmog selections and registered gear library are saved per save slot and persist between sessions.
- Install Equipment Visibility Toggle first
- Open the settings panel with F9 (or your configured key)
- Bring the gear you want to register into your inventory, then press Register Gear
- Click on any equipment slot’s selector button to open the appearance list
- Choose the look you want — or select None (equipped as-is) to show your actual gear
- Your selections are saved automatically!
Stats Completely Unaffected
Transmog only changes visual rendering. All armor values, protection stats, and equipment bonuses from your real gear remain fully active.
Works Even After Losing the Item
Once registered, a gear’s appearance stays in your library permanently. You can use it as a skin even if you no longer own the item.
