The Slann Rehabilitation Project
This mod adds in dismounted versions of Mazdamundi and generic Slann Mage-Priests.
Mazdamundi and generic Slann lords get a new "mount", that can be unlocked at level 20, allowing them to walk around on the ground.
Dismounted Slann are slightly faster, have slightly better melee attack and defense, and a better charge bonus. However, while dismounted, they have their spellcasting abilities heavily nerfed. According to lore they probably shouldn’t be able to cast at all, but I’ve compromised for the sake of gameplay.
With the terrible trade off above, you might be asking yourself, "why would I ever dismount my Slann?". And the answer is… I don’t know. Novelty? Roleplaying? Humor? Hate magic? Nostalgic for 3rd Edition? Take your pick.
I’ve also included a dismounted version of Kroak, only available in custom battles.
It’s all vanilla models created by CA. Further modelling and animation work done by ChaosRobie.

Mazdamundi, Kroak, and Slann are all Games Workshop IP and are described in Warhammer Armies: Lizardmen, 8th Edition.
