Description:

Happy New Year, everyone!

This is a MOD based on "Sky-Thunder Dual-God Shiina" from Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG. The two will appear in Kapol Port as free adventurers.

Since there is no corresponding character story in the OCG, I have given them personalities based on the aura conveyed by their card art: the male Wind God, Shiina, appears relatively cheerful and unrestrained from his expression on the card, while the female Thunder God—likely based on Takemikazuchi?—has been portrayed with a more bold and battle-loving personality, drawing from my understanding of Japanese culture. I hope my amateur writing and character portrayal do not offend anyone from Japan.

In event dialogues, the Wind God’s lines will be displayed in green, and the Thunder God’s lines in yellow.

In addition, I designed 2 weapons and 2 ring equipment for them, both of which can be made at the blacksmith’s workshop.

Currently, only Chinese and Japanese language versions are available. The English version is in progress… I’ve been quite busy with work recently, so it might be ready next week.

———— Character Traits ————

To portray the "dual-character" concept, I have allowed them to wear two sets of equipment simultaneously. Additionally, I have given them the Quick Cast 1 and Quick Shot 1 traits, enabling them to attack twice when using spells and ranged weapons as well. This should create the impression of two beings acting together.

In the original Yu-Gi-Oh! game, wind-related effects like "Cyclone" often destroy Spell/Trap Cards. Therefore, I designed the Wind God as a ranged attacker with high Magic Resistance, specializing in physical damage. Conversely, thunder-related effects like "Raigeki" often destroy Monster Cards, so the Thunder God was designed as a spellcaster with high Physical Resistance, excelling at dealing wide-area magical damage.

【Signature Weapons: "Futsunomitama" & "Hisaginoha"】

These are signature weapons designed to complement the characters’ traits.

Futsunomitama, as the Thunder God’s melee weapon for mages, benefits from the Magic Device skill, allows for long-range attacks, and can activate the weapon skill "Heaven’s Might Drum" to enhance magical attack power at the cost of reducing Perception by 100.

Hisaginoha is a crossbow. Based on Yu-Gi-Oh!’s design concept of "wind = magic destruction," its attacks can trigger "Silence" to prevent enemies from casting spells. It can also activate the weapon skill "Clouds Part, Mists Disperse" to boost physical attack power at the cost of reducing Magic by 100.

In short, each weapon enhances the combat power of its respective god in their specialized field while penalizing the other’s attribute. Since the character can wear two sets of equipment, experienced players can use gear to offset these penalties, allowing the Dual Gods to master both combat styles. For newer players who find the -100 attribute penalty too challenging, they can focus on developing one combat style first and cultivate the other once their level is sufficient.

【Extra Support Cards: "Blazing Storm of the God-Seen" & "Armed Dragon Thunder LV5"】

These represent two archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG that can utilize the Dual Gods: "Blazing Storm" and "Armed Dragon" combined with the "Dragon Ruler" theme.

I know Dragon Rulers aren’t the most powerful, but I just enjoy playing them!

The reason they are implemented as rings is because I found myself somewhat short on "Acceleration Rings."

Given the limited design space for the "Ring" equipment slot and the fact that the Dual Gods themselves have 4 ring slots (making me hesitant to assign overly strong stats), I have only given these rings simple numerical effects to help players compensate for the potential shortage of Acceleration Rings due to needing to fill four slots.
