This is a Japanese Cold War main battle tank (MBT) introduced in 1975. Designed with many specialised technologies in mind, the tank eventually entered service with only its planned hydropneumatic suspension, and the platform quickly became obsolete.

This tank features hydropneumatic suspension, which works seamlessly with the turret’s vertical traverse to provide additional angles of elevation
Type 74/Type 74 (C)
- 105mm L7A1 cannon, capable of shooting APDS and HEP rounds
- Coaxial 7.62mm machine gun
- 1 commander roof machine gun mount armed with a 12.7×99mm NATO M2HB Browning machine gun
- Comes in Woodland (Type 74) and Woodland JSDF (Type 74 (C))

- Coaxial 7.62mm machine gun
