New Units for Iranian Factions
This mod adds three new realistic units to eastern factions, to give them a fuller unit selection, whilst preserving the character of their armies:
Iranian Spears – moderately armoured medium spearmen
Takabara – lightly armoured melee infantry with javelins
Sparabara – lightly armoured spearmen
Further, it edits the appearance of Parthian Swords to make them look more eastern, and changes the barding of Eastern Cataphracts to half barding (full barding left for the more elite Royal Cataphracts), and edits the Persian Hoplites to give them a more hellenised appearance.
