Expanded Horizons
This is a large mod that tweaks vanilla to be more consistent (mainly with world states) while adding significant content throughout the world in a vanilla style.
Several new factions and sub-factions have been added, divided into three categories:
Major Factions
Major factions are like the "Big Three" in vanilla: the Shek Kingdom, United Cities and Holy Nation. There is only one Major Faction in the mod currently, and it starts small so the player can either destroy it or help it expand its territory.
Minor Factions
Minor Factions are either bandit factions or "civilized" factions with little power. Sometimes they are a city-state, sometimes a marauding death-cult. There are about a dozen factions that fall under this category in the mod so far.
Sub-Factions
Sub-Factions are very small factions attached to a major or minor faction such as a mercenary company or knighthood order. There are several with more planned for the future.
All factions in the mod can be destroyed or at least crippled into almost nothing. This can be accomplished by killing their leaders and other important NPCs belonging to their faction, so it is possible to remove any factions you don’t like.
There are currently 4 unique recruits in the mod, more may be added later.
Several new helmets and weapons are currently in the mod, and some have Cross level varients.
Cross weapons:
Double-Edge: Wielded by the king of the major faction in the northern coast
Fragment Spear:Go to Admag and travel west until you enter Vain, look in the strange village and find the Swamp Dome
Heavy Spiked Club:Go to the island chain east of Heng and go into the faction HQ (not the UC one)
Since this mod changes worldstates of some vanilla factions, it might not work with other mods that do this. If you are using mods that change worldstates, place them below this one in your load order.
