Description:

Even though the carrier strike group was sunk and the surprise attack on Ilulissat airport has been foiled, the US still has not backed down. On the political level, Washington is in chaos. But while the president is under attack from all sides, he is desparately ordering the military to mount further, increasingly underprepared strikes.
Russia and China are privately celebrating the breakup of NATO, and publicly condemning the attack. China has also offered to broker peace talks, but neither side has taken up the offer.
Denmark and its allies meanwhile are still scrambling to regroup, rearm, and keep up operational readiness with too little men, material and time.

US navy ships have been detected coming up along the coast, avoiding our submarines. They are moving at flank speed, knowing that we are stretched thin and hoping to reach Nuuk before we are ready for its defense.
We also have to assume that they will attack from the air again, coming from the north. Lastly, the attack submarine that likely accompanied the carrier strike group is unaccounted for, and there may be additional subs that we are not aware of yet.
Your job is to stop all possible attacks. Do not allow the surface fleet to reach Nuuk.

This is mission 3 of the work in progress "Greenland 2026" campaign, set in May 2026. The missions show a fictional, but plausible attack scenario, and allow the player to conduct the defense of Greenland. Red side missions may be available too.

The Ivar Huitfeld is still secretly a Dutch ship, and the F-35s are still C, not A.
