The CRTS3 slab ballastless track of China Railway is a new generation of slab ballastless track independently developed based on the absorption of Japan and Germany’s CRTS1,2 slab track technology, combined with China’s national conditions. Although the cost is high, CRTS3 has the advantages of high reliability and stable and safe operation under high-speed conditions. The CRTS3 ballastless track will be tested for 400kph normal passenger operation using CR450 high-speed trains on the Shanghai Chongqing Chengdu high-speed railway section, marking that China is still leading the world in high-speed train technology.
