Description:

This variety pack includes railroad signals. City-related signals were removed and relocated to the new signal variety pack (city).

If you subscribe and enable it, all previously set up city signals should work fine. Some signals are in both mod packs.

This signal variety pack is inspired by Japan but does not aim to be an exact match. This is because NIMBY signaling functionality ("software") differs, and the "hardware" (these signals) is adjusted to match.

The pack includes the following signals (aspects are organized by indication)

– RR4: 4-lamp (from the top – YGYR). Aspects: unlit, red, green, yellow, two yellows, red/yellow.

– RR4A: 4-lamp (YRYG). Aspects: unlit, red, green, yellow, green/yellow, two yellows.

– RR3: 3-lamp (GYR). Aspects: unlit, red, green, yellow

– RR2S: 2-lamp (GR). Aspects: unlit, green, red

– RR2T: 2-lamp (combines YR and YG). Aspects: unlit, yellow, green, red, yellow/green, yellow/red

– RR1H: HSR trackside signal – red light bar. Aspects: unlit, red, yellow (orange). Intended for 1435mm gauge.

– RR2E: shunt E Europe – two lamps WB. Aspects: unlit, white, blue

– RR4J1: shunt Japan – four lamps – three yellow and one purple. Aspects: unlit, two horizontal lights, two horizontal and purple light, two diagonal and purple light

– RR4J2 shunt signal Japan – four lamps – same as above, but one of the lamps is red instead of yellow.

– Simple railroad signals – two lamps (larger size, YR, GR). Aspects: unlit, red, green, yellow

– Grade crossing – two lamps. Aspects: unlit, right lamp red, left lamp red, both red

– Markers – six colors, shape identical to blue built into 1.18

– Balises – (1) vertical green bar, (2) minimal version (two gray bars), (3) ATS sign white, (4) ATS sign yellow, (5) "A" sign (means ATS or Automated).

Signal light visibility was given priority over realism. For this reason, lights, when on, are a bit oversized. The number of lights is also minimized to make them more visible.

Additional custom signals may be added over time.
