I don’t like the current iteration of the societal values mechanic as it is right now. They don’t do much to influence what makes your country unique. Most of the time it feels like you just pick what’s better between the two options for every value.

I also don’t agree with how Centralization affects subject loyalty/opinion. In this form, that pressure should be more about the push and pull between the crown and the estates, not a flat “vassals hate you” penalty. With this change you can focus on Centralization and still keep and manage some vassals.

Balances Centralization to make subject-heavy play less punitive.

Centralization subject loyalty penalty reduced to -5 (from -30)
Centralization annexation speed reduced to +20% (from +33%)
