Description:

This mod allows you to assume the role of a Demon Lord, an upstart demon of Inferno that rebels against the established hierarchy and seeks to establish a power of their own. This is a very hard start, as you begin in Inferno with no way to access Elysium. You cannot own Citadels on other planes and must rely on what strength you can eke out of Inferno or what Sinners you can steal from Elysium.

Features:

– The only feature that will affect other playthroughs of Conquest of Elysium is that sinners are now classified as ‘expendable.’ Everything else is contained to this class alone.

Play as the forces of Inferno and evolve your imps from lowly imps to the highest of demons. Each imp type has its own progression from imp to greater demon.

Customize your Demon Lord and become any type of Demon.

Harvest Sinners and transform them into your own minions. Rather than just using the default harvesting by interacting with the location, you can harvest sinners by digging them out of their pits yourself with the Dig Up Sinners ritual as long as you have Inhumer Devils. Then, you can transform them into minions through the Ovens of Sin.

Mantle the Demon Lords. When a Demon Lord in Inferno is killed, their power is up for grabs. After becoming a Greater Demon Overlord, you are able to assume their power for your own when they are killed and become a stronger version of them.

Gather your armies. You may also gather your armies of sinners and transform them into Bloodsworn, then into Demon Knights using high costs of iron and sacrifices.

Leave your feedback!

This mod was made with the concept of playing mostly in Inferno and exploring what that plane has to offer. If the mod is too hard or there are any bugs, do let me know what your thoughts are. A lot of the costs were based on Demonologist but naturally it’s going to be a lot harder to gather sacrifices in Inferno. Your citadel gives you two sacrifices off rip to help with this.

Known bugs.
– If there is an active clergy on Elysium, the Cardinal or Pope will start breaking the seals as they are panicking about an invasion from Inferno. This will continue until someone breaks the Portal to Inferno on Elysium.

– There will be an Impassable Mountain near your spawn with a portal icon. This is the only work-around to not spawning with an immediate portal to Elysium, as otherwise the game forces you to have a way to Elysium.

Note for Other Modders
The ‘Infernal Rebel’s Citadel,’ the starting citadel for this mod, uses terrain 562, and the Infernal Pit uses 563. I picked this number randomly off the top of my head, so if this conflicts with any big mods people use, please do let me know.
