In the world of Kenshi, resources and smiths are scarce, so it is reasonable that even the formal soldiers of the most powerful factions often cannot equip standard armor. However, they should at least have better equipment than hungry vagrants right?
This mod adjusts the armor quality for certain bandit factions. For example, the standard armor quality of Hungry Vagrants has been downgraded from ‘Shoddy’ to ‘Prototype’. As a result, soldiers from regular armies will now finally have better armor than some starving desperate robbers, which makes the equipment balance more logical.
