Type 1 Ho-Ha
The Type 1 Ho-Ha is a half track armoured personnel carrier developed by Imperial Japan during World War 2. It is an answer to IJA’s request for a vehicle that can transport troops into the battlefield. With Germany’s Sd.Kfz. 251/1 "Hanomag" design, Hino motors built this APC in limited numbers; abandoning the interleaved road wheels design of the Hanomag. However, due to being slow, it did not get mass manufactured, unlike its peers (the Hanomag and the M3). However, it still saw combat in areas like the Philippines and Manchuria.
