Rhone never believed in homeworlds — only departures. The Vagabond was his answer to the question no one dared ask: How do you leave a place forever?
Built from scrapyard ribs and pirate prayers, the Vagabond isn’t a warship or a palace. It’s a promise. A way to crawl out of the crater, light your engines, and chase the horizon before it swallows you again.
In the R-SEP fleet, this is the ship that carries the others — the final phase of the Escape Plan. Rhone calls it “the tombstone that flies away.”
Function
The R-SEP Vagabond is a lightweight Capital Vessel designed to lift survivors out of Reforged Eden 2 random start systems and into open space. Built with heavy modularity and accessible materials, it serves as a long-term platform for expansion, mining, and logistics.
A top-mounted landing pad supports SVs and HVs, while twin 320 k Harvest Bays and 8 × 16 k cargo boxes provide massive storage for everything you’ve hoarded during planetary survival. The rear Astra Dock allows seamless integration with community-made Astra Pods, and the hull slots neatly into a Helios Bay when parked.
Inside, you’ll find an Advanced Constructor, food processing station, and dedicated rooms for Shield, Turbine, and CPU Core upgrades (expandable to Core 5). All thrusters are built on removable mounts for easy replacement — from smalls to mediums or dual Advanced engines in the aft.
While unarmed by default, six turret hardpoints are pre-marked for defensive upgrades, and the forward frame can be modified for 4–8 laser drills, turning the Vagabond into a formidable early-game asteroid miner.
