Content

  • Added bullet shot effects, hit effects, and Genshin-like elemental infusions and reactions for all elements!
  • Added four major elements: Grass, Rock, Water, and Wind, along with corresponding elemental resistances.
  • Added corresponding elemental bullets for the seven elements, which deal 20% additional elemental damage when used.
  • The elemental reactions are relatively simplified compared to Genshin Impact, currently supporting reactions such as Vaporize, Melt, Frozen, Overload, Burning, Swirl, Electro-Charged, Bloom, SuperConduct, and Crystallize.
  • Added elemental mushroom enemies for each element, which may replace regular enemies. Different maps and weather conditions spawn elemental mushrooms of varying strength/element. Additionally, there’s a chance for enemies to randomly become an elemental construct upon spawning (probability adjustable in ModSetting).
  • Elemental Mushrooms and Elemental Constructs are immune to their own elemental damage and highly resistant to physical damage. It is recommended to use elemental damage or elemental reactions to defeat them. Upon defeat, they will drop corresponding elemental bullets loots, which can also be temporarily crafted using cash and armor-piercing shells.

Things to know

  • Playing this mod alone may not be very good, as it’s rare for multiple elements to coexist in the original game, and the short TTK game also results in poor element reaction performance.

It is recommended to use it in combination with mods that provide multiple elements (affixes, VAE, element accessories/weapons, etc.) and enemy health enhancement mods.

It is recommended to install ModSetting to modify settings.

Mechanism

This mod employs more element prerequisites, and the current mechanism for elemental damage is as follows:

  • Damage from bullets will deal an "additional" amount of elemental damage, similar to the elemental affix of equipment.
  • From the firearm itself (Fire AK), heavy-load type attachments (VAE attachments), modify the firearm’s own damage type, removing physical damage

Elemental reactions

  • Fire, ice, and water damage are amplification reactions, which are resolved immediately upon dealing damage. For example, fire damage dealt to enemies with water or ice elements applied will directly deal 1.5 times the fire damage.
  • All other reactions are burst reactions, with a built-in 2-second cooldown.
  • The wind/rock element is a delayed effect, which differs from Genshin’s logic. It has been changed to cause a 1-second attachment instead of completely not attaching (which was difficult to implement).
Currently testing compatible mods
  • Kamokoto’s mod (more collectibles, weapon attachments, etc.)
  • Arcane Era, Equipment Modifierss, etc. as the same author’s mod
  • Elite monsters, more enemies, better AI brains, and other enhanced mods

Incompatible mods
  • Co-op(Multiplayer) mod, elemental reactions should not be achievable in the client side and may cause bugs.
  • (Bullet expansion) is completely replaced by this mod, and its bullets do not have the corresponding effects.
