M-46 130mm towed field gun was the most numerous artillery piece in the entire cold war. Owing to it’s very rugged, reliable and effective soviet design, it was incredibly liked by militaries across the globe and exported to any and all friendly states of the Warsaw Pact.
After it’s introduction, it had the longest range of any field gun or howitzer in the world for many years, capable of reaching out to 44km (27mi) with rocket-assisted shells. It’s a very effective tool for any army.
This mod comes with custom ammunition, both HE and AP shells.
The howitzer has a maximum practical range of 27 kilometers and has 50-degree firing arc. It’s been added to 13 nations, while writing the variants I realized it can be added to any nation with scenario editing tools anyway and stopped being silly.
Also I couldn’t get the 44km range rocket-assisted shell actually reach even near 44km, if someone knows how to fix this issue please tell and I’ll update the mod
