Momo’s Syrian Rebel Factions Project: Faction Mod
Most SCW faction mods were just not detailed enough for me, so I embarked on a 5 year journey (Yes this is a historical mod now) to create what is essentially the ‘most authentic’ SCW faction mod with an emphasis on rebel factions. If you also think that there was a lack of thermal weapon sights, MLRS artillery, and VBIEDs, then this is the mod for you!
– 1.86 Gigabytes of retextures for RHS and 3CB assets
– Elephant rockets, 106mm rockets, 122mm rockets, and several factions specific kinds of rockets artillery (HTS’s Zuam and Katyusha rockets) all with ‘authentic’ CEP and mostly ‘usable’ by AI. They also come with realistic sounds.
– Basic RCVBIED, SVBIED, and PBIED implementation with the first 2 getting custom SFX
– Plastic armbands that go in NVG slots
– Plastic headbands compatible with 3CB backwards facing baseball caps and some helmets
– Flags
– 6 factions with some having several subvariants all fully randomized based on the Alive approach for randomization
– Arma 2 PKM port with picatinny rail support
– Thermal Vision Sight for the RHS RPG-7
– Basic Night Vision Sight for picatinny rails
– Reported the Arma 2 NVGs for RHS helmet support
