Description:

This mod enables the “Reset Lua” button on the main title screen without using debug mode. The button lets you quickly reload Lua files—for example, after subscribing to or updating a mod without closing Project Zomboid.

How to use

  • Subscribe on Steam, then enable the mod on the title screen → MODS.
  • Enabling it per-save has no effect (it only affects the title screen).
  • The mod does not change the in-game pause menu (ESC) or anything inside a running save.

Compatibility

  • Lightweight, UI-only. No known conflicts so far.
  • If you find one, please report it (see Bug Reports below).

Build status (tested)

  • Build 41
  • Build 42: from 42.12 up to 42.15

Quick troubleshooting

  • Make sure you’re subscribed and the mod is enabled on the title screen.
  • If you subscribed while the game was open, restart PZ (and Steam if needed).
  • In the MODS list, search for the exact name: Enable Reset Lua Button.
  • If something seems off, try with only this mod enabled and/or verify game files: Steam Library → right-click Project Zomboid → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity.

Enable Reset Lua Button

Este mod habilita el botón “Reset Lua” en la pantalla principal sin usar el modo de depuración. Permite recargar rápidamente los archivos Lua, por ejemplo, tras suscribirte o actualizar un mod sin cerrar Project Zomboid.

Cómo usar

  • Suscríbete en Steam y activa el mod en la pantalla principal → MODS.
  • Activarlo o no en una partida guardada no afecta (solo actúa en la pantalla principal).
  • El mod no cambia el menú de pausa dentro de la partida (ESC) ni nada dentro de una sesión en curso.

Compatibilidad

  • Ligero y solo de interfaz. No hay incompatibilidades conocidas por ahora.
  • Si encuentras alguna, por favor repórtala (ver Bug Reports abajo).

Estado por builds (probado)

  • Build 41
  • Build 42: desde 42.12 hasta 42.15

Comprobaciones rápidas

  • Asegúrate de estar suscrito y de activar el mod en la pantalla principal.
  • Si te suscribiste con el juego abierto, reinicia PZ (y Steam si hace falta).
  • En la lista de MODS, busca el nombre exacto: Enable Reset Lua Button.
  • Si algo falla, prueba solo con este mod y/o verifica la integridad: Biblioteca de Steam → clic derecho Project Zomboid → Propiedades → Installed Files → Verify integrity.
