Description:

"The name of the BMDF Mercs Fighter Squadron may sound less than flattering to those unaware of their history, however it honors the squadron’s origins as a mercenary group hired by Boscali and later folded into the BDF as a proper unit. Most of the group consisted of light Infantry, however the handful of pilots flying Cold War era trainers proved their worth and went on to form one of the BMDF’s oldest still operational units. On their latest deployment some of their Ifrits have been seen wearing the Ferris scheme, while this pattern has been extensively trialed in the past on 4th generation fighters, the BMDF intends to use it as a baseline for future camouflage development."

BDF Ifrit livery based on the variant of Ferris camo used on US Navy F-14s and F-4s. This and the other Ferris schemes were the reason I started making liveries in the first place since no one else had done them yet, and I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out.
