Captain Falcon BETA
Captain Falcon smashes into Rivals from the Smash and F-Zero Series, in custom-sprited glory! He features a moveset based on P+ and (ideally) brings hype combos and edgeguards to every match!
WARNING! Captain Falcon breaks one of Rival’s design philosophies! Mashing is a mechanic in his (not yet implemented) Rapid Jab and in escaping his Grounded USpecial! I’d say he breaks it with intent, because he’s one of THE rushdown fighters so mashing for your life ADDS to the experience- but that’s cope ngl.

BETA MOVESET!
I just wanted to push this out in a playable state as fast as I could, enjoy! Many animations contain duplicate sprites, off proportions, and just general un-finished-ness. Most animations are choppy to an extent with a notable outlier of UAir, because it just looked awful without a few in-between frames.
There are runes but if I remember correctly only SSBU DTilt and SSBU FStrong actually work. They’re just there for now, so have fun with ’em, I guess.
___
Moveset:
Jab: Same old Gentlemen Combo, but by repeatedly mashing, you can preform Mach Punch, his rapid jab! (Rapid Jab not implemented yet)
FTilt: Same roundhouse kick.
UTilt: Falcon Axe. By releasing the Attack button before the move launches, you’ll get a faster axe kick from SSBU, but if you hold it down, you’ll get a heavier axe kick from Melee – Sm4sh! The fast version is great for grounding aerial opponents without an opportunity to tech, and the heavy version has the most range of all of Falcon’s tilts.
DTilt: A sweep kick that knocks opponents up.
DAttack: A shoulder bash that can run off ledge!
FStrong: Overheat Elbow! An amazing lunging elbow strike- it deals immense KB and DAM. Can be referred to as either the Elbow of Judgement or the People’s Elbow- take your pick! Or, just call it by it’s name.
UStrong: Dual Edge! A very strong double-crescent kick. It’s range has been toned down from SSBU, don’t worry. Hopefully it should be 99% consistent with the way the hitboxes are setup.
DStrong: Pendulum Punt! A straight-up punt kick that covers both sides of Falcon.
NAir: Soaring Falcon. A double-kick that’s great for combos and neutral- if you know how to use it.
FAir: Overvolt Knee! Falcon’s iconic finishing blow. Commonly referred to as the Knee of Justice!
BAir: Reverse Knuckle. An all-around great attack. Good framedata, good DAM, good KBG and BKB, all of it.
UAir: Turbine Kick. A bicycle kick that’s great for combos. It has very horizontal knockback, so be ready to follow up. Well, unless they DI In, in that case, it can result in ladder combos.
DAir: Hammer Drop. A very powerful stomp useful both on and offstage!
NSpecial: Falcon Punch. It needs no introduction. Big punch KO early, big punch hype. It deals 38%. Do not let it be you.
FSpecial: Raptor Boost. A great, versatile tool. When hitting in the air, hold Special to bounce off the opponent. Otherwise Falcon will fall right with the opponent.
USpecial: Brazen Hand. On the ground, Falcon will grab an opponent directly in front of him and be able to preform 4 throws, pummel the opponent, and activate the aerial Falcon Grapple’s explosion attack. Speaking of, in the air, he’ll dive up, and if he grabs any opponents, he’ll use his unexplained pseudo-pyrokinesis to blow the opponent up! If you hold an opponent too long on the ground, they can escape! Plus, by mashing, they can speed this process up, so be calculated with how many pummels you want to throw out!
D-Special: Falcon Kick. Both an amazing burst option, movement tool, and finishing blow. On the ground he’ll surge forward, whereas the aerial version has him dive diagonally downwards.

If you’ve got suggestions, please tell what I can fix and improve. If a move’s framedata, angle, BKB, KBG, DAM feels off, put that in the suggestions discussion.
KNOWN ISSUES:
In dittos, both Falcon’s voicelines are canceled when hit, even though the sfx are properly stored in variables. help
