The Billups Neon Crossing V2
Here is my new version of the infamous demolished Billups Neon Crossing aka, the Railroad Crossing from Hell.
It was a railroad crossing that stands near the town of Grenada, Mississippi in the mid 1930s until 1970 and was demolished and changed into a regular Railroad Crossing XING without the gates.
The Billups Neon Crossing was known for taking distracted drivers very, VERY seriously whenever a train coming by. It has a STOP-DEATH-STOP sign on top of the crossing, and it was widely known for using an loud air-raid siren to fright the drivers that the train is coming to them instead of a regular RR Crossing bell sound.
However, in the last several years, the crossing had become extremely havoc to some people due to its repetitive loud siren noise, and it was removed in 1970s, replacing with the regular XING crossing without its gates instead, bringing the Billups Neon Crossing to and end.
The only remains of the Neon Crossing is the concrete pons.
So, this was the story about the former crossing.
NOTE: The crossing does not make a siren when the train comes by, and instead has a regular bell crossing.
I used Google Maps to recreate the layout in real-life location.
