Description:

After a disease hit a province, the disease resistance would never drop back down, making diseases a non factor after the first or second outbreak despite being the greatest killer in human history. This mod makes relevant disease resistance decay, and thus most of the world will be plunged into plague.

Also adding in a new disease is fairly unstable, so Typhus also includes Tuberculosis, as it’s way too impactful of a disease to leave out.

I would recommend using a mod like Population growth reworked ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3607238466 ) what I use, as it has a more ‘snappy’ population that can bounce back after a plague and has a light frame work
or
Prosper or Perish (Population Growth & Food Rework) ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3613232232 ) which also has a snappier population, but is a heavier overhaul to EU5

Overall what this does is slows down growth early game, allows for fair growth roughly 1450 to 1550 until roads spread diseases at a greater rate, and then the population begins to explode in the 1700s, the ai seems to do the same or better economy wise (pops dying probably helps to reduce the low control tax base and thus cost of court, etc, helping their income). Results can vary as disease spawns are rng, so there’s a good chance your run has more diseases or less diseases, but it should average to this trend.
