Description:

he Oriental Pearl Tower is a futurist TV tower in Lujiazui, Shanghai. Built from 1991 to 1994, the tower was the tallest structure in China until the completion of nearby World Financial Center in 2007. The top floor of the Oriental Pearl tower is at 351 metres, which, combined with its 137 metres antenna, makes the tower 468 metres tall.

The Tower comes in two version, a 5-parts modular building and a one-piece building that serves as sight tower.

The modular building is placed on top of one another while using the grid system. It contains:
– TV Station (80 workers, 60 high educated workers)
– Restaurant (35 workers, 140 visitors)
– Hotel (20 workers, 60 visitors)
– Observation Deck (20 Workers, 100 visitors)
– Radio Station (35 workers, 35 high educated workers)
